It depends on the context of the question. If you interpret "treasure" to be the man's monetary value in terms of his possessions, the answer would be "no."
Silver ~ I think it's what the man in question considers to be his treasure. If he measures monetary wealth as his most prized treasure, it does say something about how much of a man he measures up to be...which wouldn't be much at all, would it? :)
I totally agree with what Betsy wrote. A man's measure is by how well others trust and respect him and how he treats others. And does he lie or stretch the truth to try and have others believe he knows of which he talks. Truth is a great treasure that comes from mankind, and it is important to pass this treasure on to the offspring.
Thanks so much for playing in this weeks Treasure TT. It was a lot of fun.

oh but it is...what we choose to be important says much about us...
Why not?

If I'm measured by my treasure, then I'm awfully tiny! haha
Yes, definitely. As others wrote, a man's "treasure" doesn't necessarily refer to $$$$.

Betsy nailed it perfectly. That's exactly what it means.
O'Reilly taught me that, Angel. :)
LOL! Somehow I doubt that, Betsy! ;o)

WV is "fingly." That's what you get when someone's fingers make you tingly!
Fox - what is "WV" ? In the dark here - but that's not unusual. :)
Hey otin! Fun to see you here!
Word Verifcation.
WV this time is "chensach," a small canvas bag in which Germans carry their chens.
See how easy it is?
Gee, I thought that was just a double chin!
Ha! "fingly" - now I get it. Too funny.
Take-up reel's a bit slow tonight, haha?
WV "amcipi"
"Amcipi... *yawn* goin' t'bed...
Me, too, Fox. Goodnight all!
What we value does, indeed, say a lot about who we are!
