Theme Thursday – Friend

I have been enjoying the past couple of days with two of my best friends. First of all, my dear friend Sandra Leigh is here for a visit.

Unfortunately, I have to say bye-bye to her today and see to it that she catches a ferry back to that foreign country she lives in. But first, we will continue to enjoy talking and web-surfing and then dining at an Indian restaurant that has a tasty buffet before I turn her loose.

And I have also been enjoying the last 4 and a half years with another friend:

This is my best little friend in the world. She’s the only “person” who likes my singing.

I wish everyone such wonderful friends.
And a very happy Thursday.

Treasure any and all you deem worthy of calling a true friend.

And I'll gladly accept the offer you made on my blog today.

You have made my day. Seriously.

Hey, don't make me get all emotional, here. The "Silver Fox" has a reputation to protect...

Ah you're lucky. Amy the dog hates my singing - just like everyone else in the world. Happy TT my friend.

I'm glad you two have had such an enjoyable visit, and your furry best friend is quite beautiful.

What is her name?

AngelMay said...

Ha! Sorry, Fox. Did NOT mean to impugn your reputation.

e: Her name is Sylvie. She's adorable. But I'm not the least bit prejudiced. Heh.

Brian: Anybody who loves cats is ok by me.

Alan: Maybe it's just the world that doesn't appreciate us. So what if we can't carry a tune. It's the effort/thought/something that counts, right?

I have just returned home from delivering my friend Sandra onto a ferry which will whisk - er - slowly plod along taking her back to that foreign country in which she lives.

I miss her already.

Don't worry. At this point, it would be quite difficult for someone else to give me a "bad name!"

How fun that you have a blogger that you know personally. I'm sure you and Sandra had a wonderful visit. That's a gorgeous cat, btw. :)

I keep hearing you talk about your singing? You should record yourself and link it on out of tune tuesday with Jules. It could be fun!

Oh, don't you love to spend time with a dear friend like that? I have one very close friend who I've reconnected with after ten years of distance. It has been such a joy to be with her and plan our special excursions; she's only 2 hrs away so it's not too difficult to arrange meetings. I wouldn't trade them for the world..

What a lovely TT post and thanks for visiting the Tea Society blog..:)

My dear Otin: Trust me. You do not want to hear me sing.

To all my bloggy friends: You mean more to me than you know. Look into the mirror and know how special you are. :)

I miss my best friend. I'll have to visit her soon :)

I'm back in that foreign country now, catching up on the day's events in Blogland, wishing our visit could have been longer. Note to bloggy friends: I heard Angel May sing to Sylvie while I was there, and her voice wasn't the least bit frightening. Sylvie and I both liked it. I didn't run and jump into Angel May's lap, though. Sylvie did, so I guess she enjoyed the song even more than I did. ;>)

p.s. I forgot to say thank you to Ronda for her comment.

It is fun when you know other bloggers in the real world, as I know Skip, Dreamhaven, Subby, and a few folks who aren't part of the TT crowd. That way we can talk about the rest of you behind your backs! ;-)
